Need advise on Handlebars S4R 2005(pics)

Once again I resort to my fellow ducatista friends for advise.

I want to get a more upright position and put less stress on my wrists. (carpel tunnel on right hand)
I have an S4R 2005 and would like a more relaxed position than what I have now (NO RISERS AND MAGURA BARS)

1) What handlebars and bar risers do you recommend?
2) Also, what grips reduce vibration or increase comfort?

P.S: I edited the original post bcause I thought I had small risers.. well silly me..they aren't. It is stock!

Can you rotate the bars to a more comfortable position ? I did that with one of my S4Rss.

I have the stock ones on with bar risers.

I already rotated the bars towards the tank the most I could. Anymore and the controls will touch the tank when I turn and lock the wheel.

I'm of no use, but if you find something that works better, I need a set of the bars you have (assuming they ain't bent). I would buy them off you.

Sell it and buy the 696... that thing is as comfortable as a BJ when it comes to riding position. If not... a buddy of mine had some custom bars made because he too has carpul... he even got his med insurance to pay for it (don't ask me how) but they were not that expensive, and he can ride FOREVER now.

i put renthal street fighter bars on my first monster, and it made a big difference in terms of riding position (weight on wrists, etc...)

dont ask me what i have on my current bike.......

Renthal bars are really nice, and if your local supplier are willing you can try out different configurations until you are happy

I have the MAGURA handlebars. Will the Rizoma conical bars be higher than the Magura ? I can't find specs to compare

I don't think magura ever published specs on the monster bar, I looked for quite some time.

I couldn't either. They area a great looking handlebar.. I was happy that my S4R had them I will try a bar riser first. To see if that may help me get a more comfortable ride. ..that should have been my first step Thanks all!
Oh.. and I test rode the 696 yesterday.. I will post what I think on the 696 appreciation thread.

Had the Rizoma but i switched back to stock.  Its a tad higher than stock and the sweep angle is a bit closer to your body.  It was comfortable but I prefer the stock bars.

I have been working on the best fit for my wrists to be in their natural position. First I got the SpeedyMoto risers, made it a lot better. Then rotating the bars upwards, even a little better. The only thing missing now is the sweep that ASADO has shown us (thanks again A) to allow my wrists their "total" comfort - I even think that with the risers I might not need to adjust the steering stops.

This is how I see it, for me. You might need other mods, just thought my experiences could be useful?
