Hmmm where to begin....

The back half of the bike looks as it it was severed from the front half and then cruelly reattached by a Giant Sea Creature.

The exhaust looks like the amputated tentacles of that same Giant Sea Creature holding a looted RPG-7.

The seat... is... just... wrong  Undecided

Verdict: Ugly Ducati Sea Monster

There is no reason that he couldn't bend a pipe to that radius (or have it done for the cost of the welding consumables). Even if it is titanium.

Disagree with that.

I asked because I was curious if it was the seat or the exhaust that you didn't like.  It turns out it was both.  laughingdp

I agree that the seat does not work.  Mainly because it looks tacked on and is not well integrated with the seat.  I posted that bike because the exhaust was different/interesting.  I kind of like it.  Of course it may not be practical.

Imagine the labour cost in a pipe like that. Imagine every time the welder has to correct a mistake. I watched a pipe builder working on Ti once (with a good mask). It was sheer art.  A very fine and precise type of welding job for sure.

It's the setup where all the work is, really.  Once you've got the pieces in the right orientation, you tack weld them all in place, then go back and do the full seam and knock the tack off.  It's not easy, but it's not crazy hard.  I have a mig setup so I can't do Ti easily, but I might try someday if I can get hold of a tig
