I used to really like Sam Adams White Ale.  Too bad they don't brew it anymore.  Sam Adams Summer is good for US Domestic wheat brews.   Same for Shocktop.  A little too orangey, though.  Thats the problem with US brews, too fruity.

Nothing beats a good witbier, weissbier, Hefeweizen, kristallweizen.

I have a White Ale in my fridge, and I have no idea where it came from...but it only showed up with in the last 2 weeks so it cant be that old...I would ship it to you, but I dont know that it would keep for the trip.

I am a big Red Hook fan myself as I can get it right from the vats locally, The ESB and the Mud Slinger mostly, and they had an oatmeal stout on tap at the brewery that was very tasty.  Not a fan of the Long Hammer though...

Winterhook. Not my favorite, but I don't really like any winter brews.

My favorite Redhook is their seasonal Rye beer...can remember the name, but it was good.  waytogo They have a few cask-conditioned brews in their Seattle (actually Woodinville) brewery. Very good!  drool

I hear ya, winter brews can be hit and miss. If I recall, I liked the Red Hook.

One I absolutely love is Goose Island's Mild Winter.  waytogo

As far as seasonal brews go, I seem to be constantly impressed by Shiner's offerings.

Some friends and I are doing the Beer Passport at Pike Brewery here in Seattle.  Drink 1 of every beer they sell, some 50+ beers, and get free stuff.  You get a growler engraved with your name, a shirt, and 15% off for a year.  I have 3 stamps in my book!  Looks like I have plans every weekend!

Sipping my last Deschutes Jubelale as I type. Damn you Portland people have it good in the beer department. With this guy and the Abyss, Deschutes is seriously one of my favorites out there these days.

Cask beers rock!  waytogo There are a few places here that serve them, my favorite being Maritime Pacific. If cask is available that's all I drink. Seattle even has a cask beer festival every year.  Grin

Can't go wrong with a Bells beer.

Recent favorites are the Sam's Noble Pils, Horny Goat selections, and Southern Tier ales.

And there's always something from the hometown brewery in the fridge: http://www.schellsbrewery.com/

I went to school in Kalamazoo, MI and got my beer education drinking Bells daily. Love the stuff. Its really my only downside of moving to Colorado, no Bells (and yes, its better than anything we have in CO)
