Didn't plan to get it but when I saw it at the store it was such a thing of beauty.
Still not sure if I'll open it or just keep it to stare longingly at

Polished off another Arrogant Bastard. I dig the reds, but I'm having a hard time finding them at my local shop. Really loved Epic Brewing's Imperial Red (yes, a few decent beers come out of Utah!) but can't find it anymore. That pretty much leaves Victory Hop Head Red and Port's Shark Attack.

Ah well, off to chew on an Imperial Stout (Czar) from Avery.   chug

You should try Green Flash Hop Head Red..!!!!

And Noble Ales' Alpha Red... !!

man I ponied up $27 bux for a 2006 BFM Bon CHein and it was flat as hell. I split one with a coworker the night before and it was so much better. I hate to be that guy and the store I purchased it from always takes good care of me, but I may go back in today and let them know. What would you do?

if you are a regular there, I'd say something...they may not be able to do anything, but maybe they can...

Ah. I slipped -the Hop Head Red I referenced is from Green Flash, not Victory.  Good stuff.  I'll have to seek out the Alpha Red, as I'm not familiar with that brewer.

I'm enjoying (trying to block out the price tag) a 4-pack of Gordon's Imperial Red from Oskar Blues.  And I'd like to take this opportunity to extend a big "eff you" to Gordon Biersch for forcing OB to change the name of their beer. It's too bad a bigger corporation can't allow a smaller company to honor a man's legacy.

Sorry to harsh the beer thread. I'm done now.

Just suffered through 12 ounces of Nasty.  DFH Barley Wine Style Ale.

Thank God I didn't buy a four pack otherwise it would be sitting on my bar next to the Talisker Scotch for years or at least until Bens next visit.

Just cracked a Full Sail IPA.  More mellow than a Torpedo with enough hops to keep me interested.  I will buy more!
