Did you interperate my comment as: "Since Nelson Mandela was freed South Africa has turned into a pardise of racial harmony." or was it more like, "Legally mandated apartheid has ended leaving fewer official legal for blacks who want to own businesses and land but there is still a great discrepency between white and blck standards of living but there is at least hope for improvement and these types of radical societal shifts tend to take a while since even 40 years after the civil rights movement here in America the is still a defacto segregation of most major cities and a latent racism that stifles some opportunities for minorities and even having a black president does not make America a "post-racial" society.
