clutch install question
«

Gang,
I am helping a friend replace a 12t STM with a 48. Got the primary nut off, the center hub too. However, I can't for the life of me get the hub piece with the 6 spindles that the springs screw into off. I used liquid wrench on it, rubber mallet...nothing makes it budge from the shaft.
Any ideas??

Get a bigger BFH.
Or go to the gym every now and again.

You can kiss my white Irish ass sir.
GOT IT!! Heated the mofo with a heat gun for 10 minutes and then rescrewed the pressure plate and pulled!
New 48 tooth slipper installed and it runs like a dream

Funny part is, I expected your snow white ass to taste like mutton, potatoes and onions.
Sad part, it tasted like a penny...same as all the rest
Congrats on executing the BFH rule
