Same ole DesmoDevil, in a more gentle package

« on: April 13, 2010, 07:02:23 AM »

Gang,

I am helping a friend replace a 12t STM with a 48.  Got the primary nut off, the center hub too.  However, I can't for the life of me get the hub piece with the 6 spindles that the springs screw into off.  I used liquid wrench on it, rubber mallet...nothing makes it budge from the shaft.

Any ideas??

Get a bigger BFH.

Or go to the gym every now and again.

New 48 tooth slipper installed and it runs like a dream   waytogo

Sad part, it tasted like a penny...same as all the rest    Cry
