Thanks for all the well wishes and support! This has been a tough process, even though it's only the beginning, and you guys restore my faith in humanity!
I realize I've had a sheltered life in the sense that Ive never had to interact with these type of people before, never thought for a second that some huge guy would just randomly punch me in the face with such deliberence and composure.

This week the priority has been getting me into surgery and fixing me so unfortunately, we haven't been able to begin dealing with the legal stuff. It's hard knowing that this guy is out there feeling like he got away with it and that I have to look outside my window to see his friends that are lying to protect him.

Oh, and I don't have insurance. I'm self employed and very healthy so it is not cost effective. I have long term that kicks in when admitted to hospital at least overnight, but that doesn't help in these cases so ya, I will have to file a civil suit to recover those costs on top of the criminal case. Ugh!
