Well, in short what happened is I got full on punched in the face by a guy ~3x my size in my front yard. His girlfriend was double parked in my driveway blocking any escape and when they exited my neighbors house to leave I went to tell her that that was not an ok thing to do. Her boyfriend jumped in and went off on me, yelling and insulting me. When he went to push me, Jesus intervened and they started fighting. He had Jesus on the floor and I was telling him that since his problem was with me, to just take it up with me. He seemed to calm down and was standing, staring at me. I told him then to never talk to me like that again and to get off my property. Then he just suddenly went in for a full wind up punch to the face. It was so sudden I barely had time to turn. Ripped up my ear and broke jaw, blood everywhere. His girlfriend and my neighbors helped him flee the scene before cops arrived.

That's all I can say since those are just the facts.

This happened last Friday and I wasn't able to get the surgery until yesterday. Won't be able to open my mouth enough to talk for a while so excpect lots of boarding from me!

contact an attorney and the police and do the proper legal steps you can in this.  the "macho" talk of everyone saying "lynch this or that" is just that, bogus, if you go to the mob mentality then well you are no better than the garbage that hit you.

the best lesson you learned from this is that anyone/espceially strangers can/will take violent actions and that the next time you have to be more aware of your surroundings and the people involved at all times. 

as anyone here will tell you the fact that you are a female doesn't matter at all in a street fight, there is no "etiquette" when it comes to the actual street fighting.

The legal ramifications take place afterwards not during the actual street fight.

See the problem here is you're trying to rationalize it... Just accept the fact he's a make the beast with two backsed up douche. IF he makes jail time, it tems to get whispered to the other inmates that he likes to hit girls... and they will then treat him like one.

of course he was concerned about her and it's a shame she had to go through that, but personally if I saw some guy pull a snookie on my girl, I would throw him the beating of his life.

explain to me the guy punched your lady in the face and your instincts didn't tell you to bite his face off? I don't know something sounds off with this story. Fellas if a guy basically almost killed your wife with a right hook, what would you do?

Well, his race doesn't really matter.. so why ask? It's the asking about someones race, in correlation to a crime that's setting off the warning bells.

And the 22 posts comment is a nod that you don't have any history here, so no one knows your tone or you. So it's a lot easier for people to possibly misinterpret your intent without a history of context to place it in.
