I am so very sick of a few of these long-running advertisements:

Anything involving a talking baby   [bang] [bang] (the inspiration for the thread, actually)

Got _______?

More?

"Health!   The open sesame to the sucker's purse."

Not sure that I follow, but the talking baby in the E*Trade commercials is hilarious.

hilarious?  your dealer is clearly supplying you with a better grade than mine.

I know it's a stupid topic, but i was, for some reason, quite fed up with those dang babies.  And that's when I was sober.

You don't think the E*Trade ads are funny?  Especially the one where he pukes on himself.  [laugh]

There are definitely some ads out there that need to die though, but thank god for DVR.

Those damn personal injury lawyer ads...  You know, the ones that are like "If you've been injured...."  Complete the line with something that is reasonably risky to use like ATV's.

Jewelry store ads.  [roll]  Especially those that feature some dumbass blathering on about the fantastic assortment of colorless rocks that suck down enough cash for a down payment on a house or car.  Idiotic brainwashing.  >:(

I'm a woman and even I'm tired of all the commercials that make men look like assholes that can't do anything right...especially things of the domestic nature...not all of you are that dumb!!!!!  I haven't done laundry in three years because my fiance does it all....and likes it!

PS sorry I can't think of any one commerical in particular right now that does this...but I know there are a lot of them.

PPS no my fiance is not a gay man in disguise he just really likes clean clothes [thumbsup]
"Champagne for my real friends, and real pain for my sham friends."

The wizard alltell ads, they weren't funny to begin with and certainly are less funny now.  Chad should probably choke on fire.

... I'm totally cool with my friends saying "You remember when William bit it?!  That was awesome!  How do you explode in a fireball while being crushed under a waterfall?!  I don't think I'll beat that..."

These make me pretty mad. (Though I am wound pretty tight).

I also despise any feminine parts related commercial: pads/'pons/tests.

Enough. I don't want to see a stream of piss hit a wand on tv ever again. Nor do i need to see examples of coverage and absorption.

Similarly, a car commercial with text so small i can't read the disclaimer makes me mad, and I believe defeats the purpose. It also makes me want to not buy those products.

And the $5 foot long commercials suck ass.

The Insurance ad (Progressive, I think) with the guy doing chores in Leathers and Helmet because his bike is still in the shop.

It is time for the Geiko Gekko to be eaten by the  Aflac Duck (and for the Aflac Duck to be featured in a new Chinese Restaurant ad as Today's Special)

+1 on Personal Injury Attorney ads.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

What, like the pharmacudical ones...  Soothes 72% of mild rashes...  Warning, will cause slow, excruciatingly painful death.

Hardees or Carl's Jr. (same franchise) had some commercials like that where guys couldn't make breakfast.  But I thought they were amusing.
