WRONG! Most people crash, bang a stock muffler, only to find out its cheaper to get a set of aftermarket slipons to replace their mufflers than to replace a single OEM heavy, quiet pipe.
If you're talking new, yes.
I specified "take-off" replacements, as in a used one that someone took off when they installed aftermarket mufflers. I've seen like-new take-off's for a tiny fraction of what even a very cheap aftermarket exhaust would cost.
You seem to imply that quiet is somehow bad. My Termi's with the baffles in are slightly quieter than my wife's new stock mufflers. I like it that way because it keeps the peace with the neighbors.
