I like everything about the Wakan except the engine  Tongue

Put something in there with gear/belt/chain driven overhead cams and you'd have a sweet bike  Vino!

+1
It seems like that is a normal 100 CI S & S motor.
Sweet bike though

Back to the current subject;

That new Aprilia RSV4 is sweet. So is the new KTM 1190 RC8
Saw both at the local dealer.

IMHO it looks like the Aprilia & BMW both hired Japanese designers to design their new bikes. bang head

Thanks, but I knew what bikes he was talking about.  Was more asking what dealer he was talking about as he (up until recently) was on the big island.

Gotta say i agree.
the current line up does nothing for me except for the Hypermotard. I wouldn't have one instead of my monster tho it would be an aswell as.

I like the sport classic range. The GT is very nice.

At this years Scottish bike show Ducati didnt have any of the sport classics on their stand so i assumed they had stopped making them.

Yeah, I know what you mean...the M900 is just so pretty, I just like to go in the garage and look at it!

you can stick an old M900 among a bunch of current-issue naked bikes...I know which one will stand out and catch my eye and my initial interest

I agree whole-heartedly...

New monsters do NOTHING for me compared to the new line up..... Not a huge fan of the newer SBK's either, although theyre nice..

Search for a well cared for used machine is what i'd suggest...

Monster- m900,S2R1K,S4RS- waytogo
SBK- 916/996/998.....and the MV's  waytogo

BUT....

I do dig the Hyper...

Well, it is 55 degrees and foggy right now. Had to buy all new gear. My vented/perforated stuff was not cutting it. Killer roads though. It is strange to ride without sweating like hell.

I just sent you a PM about your move

end of thread jack

I agree that the lines of those bikes are not beautiful. But that Aprilia is just sick
