2011 MTS1200s ride impression.

Took it out today, what a fun ride. Super suspension, great power, and wheelie fun.

So easy to ride, scary that the guy on the streetfighter could not get eaway in the corners. I'm really digging the ABS too.

Lots of electronic doo dads and equipment, I'd kinda like a simpler version, but as a motorcycles this this kicks ass.

I got a little time on one today too.  Me likey!  It was interesting to be able to change the set up on the move. I only tried the sport and touring modes - but there was a definite difference in the throttle response between the two modes. 

Didn't get more than a handful of miles at a moderate pace (no racing a streetfighter), but I dig it. It's got a quickness, but one could easily do a long day w/o feeling too beat up.

My only gripe was that the top of my head seemed to right where the wind screen stopped. I didn't get any buffeting, but it made for a huge amount of wind noise. But I think a taller screen is available... or will be at some point.

Trouble, what would you want stripped off?
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Yeah, wind was definitely an issue.

Although they did have an alternate shield they were going to install.

I'm taking the wife for a demo next week.

Don't know that I'd want anything off, just different than what I'm used to. except for that thingy behind the rear tire.

Do you think it would be comfortable for a person that is 6'4-5" tall ?

He wouldn't know.  He looks up to IZ.  Steve (shadowchaser) has ridden it and is getting one.  He is around 6 5.  He finds it very comfortable.

I rode it today with the future mrs. Rob and it is an incredible motorcycle.  One of the most comfy bikes you will ride without sacrificing performance.

I rode one today. Ride results here. I liked it, & I agree about the comfort factor. [thumbsup]

I rode the Hyper 1100 EVO after the Multi, and the Hyper felt alot more natural for me. But the ride was only about 26 miles/45 minutes. Given the kind of riding I do I liked the Hyper better, but I did like the Multi alot also.

It is. And it was as high as it would go. If it was lower, I'd probably have gotten the slip stream right in the face. Might have been quieter, but would have knocked my head around a lot more. My grip is a tiny tiny one, but I did notice how loud the wind noise is.

Yep, windshields at the wrong height cause more noise than none at all.

Anyone 5' 8" ish and taken it for a ride? The seat hieght is a few inches taller then a 695 and that's what's holding me back from making the drive to go test ride it.

I'm 5' 8 7/9" in thick socks.

Using the regular seat the bike feels a bit tall but I can definitely get the toes on each foot down or flat-foot it on one side or the other by shifting a bit. The short seat is an inch shorter.

For me the biggest problem was getting my damned leg over the passenger seat, which is pretty high.

I took the windscreen of my K 1300 GT and it is much better.

I'm used to riding with no windscreens.

I would probably do the same to a Mutistrada S.

There's a trick that usually works for me and that is to pull your knee in to your body and roll it over the riders seat.

Works better than trying to through your whole leg over the entire bike.

I'm 5' 6" and I rode it with a passenger and I was fine.
