Then I talked to my cousin for a hook up and I think his exact words were "what kind of moron even thinks about trading in a 2003 lexus for a 20yr old car?"

No way I'd buy a 10 year old GMC pick-up with 87K miles for $10K. Especially a hot rod one that has probably been whipped. No matter how cool it is (and they are cool). I guess that is just me though...I hate working on/repairing cars/trucks.

I guess I have to come out and say it: it is a make the beast with two backsing Sanoma with a big motor. The truck is ugly as sin. 

I'm going to have to vote thumbs down, not cool, don't buy it... unless you want to impress rednecks and 17 year old boys at the 7/11. 

I saw a test run where an Mazda MPV out dragged a 308gts.  That sure as hell don't make no MPV a cool minivan.

A guy at my high school had one.  Fun toy.  Don't forget the 4.3 is the little sister to a 5.7.  A lot of internals are the same IIRC.

The 4.3 is a 5.7 missing the front two cylnders.

She actually drives my Jetta TDI which I will never part with until it dies. It has a little under 80k on the clock and she has a 21mi highway commute each way.......no way I am parting with it.

We traded her car for the Lexus.

I agree on the looks. It is a total white trash truck. It has some awful stickers on it, etc.

It'd be a fun 3rd car to make the beast with two backs around with..........but as Triple J said........it is 20yrs old, 84k miles...........you know the make the beast with two backser has been ragged.

I checked the car fax from the website.

It has been owned seriously by like 14 people.
