Sounds like a blast, you guys!  Wish I could be there to help with the popcorn.  I noticed a reference to MST.  My favorite is "Riding with Death" starring BEN MURPHY!

OMG OMG OMG did someone say MST3K?!?  bacon

laserblast is a must see...

I recorded a bunch of them in the mid-nineties, will have to look through them for laserblast.  Time to convert them from VCR to DVD.   waytogo

I loves me some MST3K, especially the early ones before the change in host.

I should tell those of you who are coming tonight that I "accidentally" left my cell phone at work yesterday, so if you need to get hold of me for directions or anything you should call the house.  The number is five oh five, five oh eight, three one two two.

The SPH says Vaseline creates too much drag.  Lance agrees.  I have no idea what they are talking about.   coffee

I'm down for a game night.  Should I host or shall we rotate hosts?

OK....it's time to follow the Memorial Day Weekend Cheesy Movie Festival with the new and improved Labor Day Weekend NMMR Movie Festival.  That means we can, if we choose to, show cheesy or noncheesy movies without breaking the promise guaranteed by the event's name.  Several candidates for screening have already been chosen, but feel free to nominate additional titles for consideration.  Current suggestions include:

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (though Matt has all but vetoed this selection....he hates Python)
Clerks
Dogma
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Zack and Miri Make a Porno
Kung Fu Hustle (a leftover from the last Movie Night that we didn't get to watch
Kill Bill (Volume I...Volume II....or Volumes I and II.......je ne sait pas)
Innocent Blood

I'm sure there were others, but I'm too tired to remember them.  If you have a suggestion, post away.

Also, the time is a bit vague.  I think I'd rather do Satruday afternoon/evening starting around 6:00.  Sunday would be OK, too,...but I think Matt will probably be stuck watching football.....so that might be out.

I would add "Snatch" to the list.

Agreed.

What's a Philistine?  Is that like a pansy?   Grin
