I've been thinking about ordering them, as my M750 is WAY overdue to have the belts changed, so I'm interested if people are using them and they are a good choice.  I just can't figure out if the ones listed will work on my 2000 750 or not.  I guess I could just email them...

Mine work fine.  Installed them about 3000 miles ago.  I remember the shape of the grooves was slightly more squared the rounded, and I called them up to make sure that nothing was amiss.  They reassured me, I installed them, no probs.   [thumbsup]

I used the after-market ones Chris sold before he had his own made, with no problems, and I won't hesitate to use his when I'm next due.

I've got the new cycleworks belts on my bike. I have put about a thousand miles on them so far with no problems, knock on wood :)

Shoot I never looked at aftermarket belts. I literally just ordered new belts from my dealer. The CA-CW page doesn't list the OEM price for M900 belts. Hopefully there closer to $50 than $100. I would have done it myself but need to have the valves checked anyway. Man I hate overspending lol

I see they have aftermarket testastretta belts now.

Are you SURE that the tooth profile was different?   I'm pretty sure it needs to be identical to the factory belts and match the pulley tooth profile exactly.

The teeth were same distance apart from each other, same general size too.  As I recall, instead of the teeth having a rounded bump like the ones being replaced, they looked like they had a rounded bump with a very tiny groove going along the apex of the bump.  This made them look slightly more squared then rounded.  Called the shop, they acknowledged the difference and said not to worry.  Never had any problems, been several thousand miles since.  Maybe fresh belts are always more squared looking and used ones get kind of rounded out?  Don't know.  ???

*no first hand experience but I would order them without a second thought if I did my own maintenance.

Yup-they work just fine.

I've had nothing but good service there.

I've got a set on order. Chris from Ca is a stand up dude. I'd trust just about anything Duc related he put into my hands if he gave it the all clear.

If I remember right - the "squarer" tooth ones are the older aftermarket belts several online retailers and some dealers sold.

The newer ones that are geometrically identical to OEM are made and sold exclusive for ca-cycleworks.
