Sorry for missing last night. I got home a little before 5:00 and let dogs out into the back yard... one of them was struck by a falling tree branch. I didn't see it happen, but I heard it. Pretty good size branch, too (60 YO oak tree).

Long story short, Lucy went to the animal hospital for the night. Her eye was cut and needed stitches. XRays showed no broken bones, but the doc was worried about head injuries. She was not moving 100% when I brought her in, but was wagging her tail. I love that about dogs. Hopefully she'll be coming home tonight.

I'll catch up with you all at the next gig and, hopefully, for a ride this weekend.

I hope Lucy is feeling better soon. 
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Was great to meet/meet up with you guys!  Needs to happen more often! 

I was waiting for that girl in the glasses and dress by the stairs to make her move on ya there Ben.  She was PHAT!

yeah...pets are family and deserve the attention...moreso than an easily repeatable evening of sitting on the front porch of a roadside beer stand pitching the wind!...
