Eh?  Did the cable guy set fire to the place?

Edit:  I called the Royal Mile to see if they thought a reservation was in order.  The guy said they don't take reservations on the first Tuesday, and that they would not be able to seat us (if we elect to take a table) until the entire group is there.  So, who plans on coming?  Wink

Howdy fellas!

Fellow owner in the DC area (Arlington)... just came across the CAM forum.  Although I can't make the meet tonight, I am hoping to attend a few of these in the near future!

Take it easy,
Jimmy

sorry to have missed it last night....I just got behind the ball on what needed to get done and plugged away at that...

and as far as the cable...seems the line going to the house has such degraded signal that the construction & maintenance division has to get involved and figure out how they are going to deal with this because the line goes under 5 driveways before it gets to our place...oh joy!

that should not be a big deal.  they can pull another wire and run a shielded RG58 using the old wire as a pull UNLESS something has chewed thru it which is probably the case.. or soeone has dug into it.

Nope - not mine!  But looks exactly the same, kinda creeped me out seeing that ad.

Nice meeting you all last night. Zoom / Dolci - you missed pirates singing sea shanties. It was, uh, an experience.

Damn - and it wasn't even Piratz Tavern (another fine drinking establishment).  I taught and then ended up going home and crashing for almost 9 hours (at Zooom's insistence). He was busy still emptying his place of stuff; I think I semi-coherantly said a few words to him when he got home.

I only have 2 more weeks of no 11-year old so I hope to try and make it out!
