What'd you say about my Momma?

« Reply #285 on: August 10, 2010, 11:31:12 AM »

Went by a place in Reston town center called Jacksons.  Outdoor seating with a line of bikes out front.  Two of which were a red Streetfighter and a white 696.

BS'ed with the owners (father and son) and told them about this here site.

Might be a good place to put in the queue.

DRK, what time are you thinking for meeting up?  I might be down for that.
Ok guys, don't forget; tomorrow night at Sfizi's in Fairfax.  Let me know if anyone wants to meet up in Shirlington and ride down together from there.

Hows about meet in front of the Carlyle on the strip at 7?  Or across the street at the brewery place. I'm hard to miss.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Thanks for keeping me honest, Drk! Unfortunately, work had me by the balls tonight. I still haven't figured out why I'm not independently wealthy and free from all this working stuff.  chug

On a bright note, my frame sliders came in so I can go sweat in the garage for 5 minutes and and worry about my works a little less.  waytogo [moto]

Thanks to Al, Isaac and Rick for showing up.  The rest of you guys missed out on a good spot.  I'd really like to make Sfizi's a regular, second Tuesday of the month spot but it sure would be nice to get a bit more solid of a showing...

Excellent food, excellent company.  Good call!  waytogo  Leaving, lost Ben out of the gate, and I think I lost Al & Issac at the light.  Ah well, I have no control over first gear.  IT controls ME!

sorry I missed it but the travel yesterday kicked my butt.  Can't make Tuesdays though since we've got the kid so we're out.
