Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing; however, they can still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Yes, thanks for hosting! I've been playing bachelor most of the week and it was good to sit down to eat with great company around the table.

Guessing that no one is really interested in a meet up, with this being thanksgiving and all.  Looks like there might be a few people gathering out on the west side of the beltway though, let me know if anyone is thinking about making their way out there.

Ya, we need a Christmas party or something. No mistletoe, though. Kiss

Oh yeah, since I know you guys are beer connoisseurs, RFD in chinatown could be good too.  We could stop by Iron Horse Taproom too if you want to look at bike related stuff.

Lauriol is nice, but I am going to rule that one out as parking is non-existant.  It's gotten to the point where I think most people will be coming by car, so we need to fact that in.

They have valet parking on the side of the restaurant actually.  It would probably be pretty easy to find street parking too since it doesn't get as crowded as summer time right now.

I guess anywhere in the city doesn't really have much parking, so if folks are worried about that, it might make more sense to do it in nova.

Oh yeah, my other suggestion was going to be H street (like beergarten Haus or somewhere else fun out there).  drink

well...if we are talking H St, why not think about http://www.thehstreetcountryclub.com/

I have yet to go there (but been REALLY wanting to), and I think a round of mini-golf indoors would be a hoot!!!

another possible place might be Union Jacks in Bethesda http://www.unionjacksbethesda.com/ as they have nice pool tables, dart boards, and decent selection of drinkery and ample nearby parking as well as the option for folks to walk over from the Metro if they'de rather...
