Ducati only made 200 of my bike, only released it in north america and for only one year.  That doesn't make it worth more now.

Either one a great Monster.

W, a Full Termi Exhaust , DP ECU and open Air box you should come close to 130 RWHP on either bike.

Go w, the one that speaks to you.

Dolph      Smiley

That sounds about right. My 2005 999 has the full 57mm Termi system and DP ecu and AMS dyno'd it at 130 and change. Maybe 130.2, something like that. The motor should be the same as the S4RS.

Go with the one you can't stop thinking about. waytogo

Okay, I see your point. A run of the mill M750 isn't all that interesting. But an S4RS is sort of rare in and of itself, but coupled with the number plate. I dunno. Maybe you're right - maybe 5 years from now an S4RS will be the same price as the TC. I guess only time will tell.

Where can one find out production numbers for Ducati's?  Id like to know how many 2001 M900 Cromos were produced/imported.

+1 on the TC being ug.

Somebody finally said it. I was being nice. Smiley

I dig the dusty gold wheels/frame on the TC though. IMO, one of them would look totally kickass with the bodywork repainted red. Sorta the feel of certain '60s competition Ferraris with the Campy wheels.

nothing different with the tri but paint.   If the limited paint tickles your fancy great.  I wouldn't expect higher resale down the road for a special paint run though.

take a look at the tri up close...the paint on the tail and tank are different.   That bugs some people a lot.

also...look at both of their tanks carefully.   Check the clearance between the front of the tank and the ignition housing.  also look at the rubber frame bumbers under the tank.   Then read the expanding tank thread stickied up top in this forum.

then buy one and ride the snot out of it.   Grin

I will have to agree.  I was never that fond of the tricolore color scheme and then one came along my way and i wanted to have one of the last original monsters.  I saw the possibilities and purchased one - then the mods began and it has turned out far better than i could have imagined.  These modifications have turned it into a bike that i am proud of and receive so many compliments on the road and at the dealerships.  I could not have done it without my friend Roland at Motovations who got me all the Rizoma and Brembo accessories and the Riding House carbon.  In addition to these mods are the following:
14 tooth front sprocket
Vizitec tail light
Cox Radiator and Oil Cooler Guard
Shift Tech – Carbon Fiber Short Tail
Shift Tech – Carbon Fiber Rear Fender
Shift Tech – Carbon Fiber Front Chain Guard
Shift Tech – Carbon Fiber Rear Chain Guard
Rizoma Sprocket Cover
Rizoma Rear Sets
Rizoma Heal Guards for Rear Sets
Rizoma Zero 11 Turn Signals (front and rear sets)
Rizoma Zero 11 Turn Signals Extenders (1 pair)
Rizoma Bar End Caps / Sliders
Rizoma Fluid Tanks Size 27
Rizoma Fluid Tanks Size 25
Rizoma Fluid Tanks Size 15
Rizoma Fluid Reservoir Bracket – Brembo
Rizoma Engine Oil Cap
Rizoma Billet Grips (gold)
Rizoma Clutch Plate
Rizoma Clutch Cover
Rizoma Conical Handlebars 29-22mm
Rizoma Reverse Retro Mirrors
Brembo 16 RCS Clutch Master Cylinder
Brembo 19 RCS Brake Master Cylinder
Yoyodyne Overthruster Clutch Slave Cylinder (gold)
Termignoni Exhaust Full Carbon System (with ECU and filter)
Motovation Rear Axel Slider
Motovation Frame Slider
Motovation Fork Sliders
Ducati dark smoke shield
Speedy Moto water pump housing
Riding House - cowling and fairing carbon

Here is a video that Roland at Motovations shot for me.

Good catch - originally had the Rizoma sproket cover then changed to Speedy Moto - now it is back to Rizoma. the Rizoma looks better and more tied in with the rest of the bike.  Anyone in the market for a gold Speedy Moto sproket cover?

So far as I know, no changes of significance have been made since the first early release 2006 model.

I see the "impressive" list of modifications made and think if is doesn't make it stop or go it's not worth the effort, much less the money.

Mine's pretty much stock, almost, and the changes make it stop and go better.

35,000 trouble free miles so far.  I'm riding it until I, or it quits.

It literally seems to run better each time I fire it up.  Best scoot I've ever been on.
