They sure didn't pull down my video where I killed that hooker and hid her body pretended to kill that hooker and hide her body.

Alright, it's not nearly as clear as the source video, but meh, it'll do.

I left that in there just for you  Grin

You can't completely hear it in the video but my laughter was nearing hysterics. Like tears streaming down my face uncontrollable laughter. I couldn't help but imagine Buddy Hackett in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" saying "Did you see the way it just went sailing right out there?".

The weird gets weirder - a reference to Buddy Hackett was just made!

So Jim, how was your class on Sunday?

It was AWESOME!!! I'd read the book a couple of times and tried some of the exercises in there, but doing it in the class with the instructors watching you and then giving you feedback really helped. The exercises start out simple but build up in complexity quickly. Hanging off the bike while cooking it around a 40 foot circle is a blast! Back that up to another circle for some figure-8 action and you've got a jizz in your pants fun time.

The students in the class were an interesting mix of folks from all over...virginia to NJ. About 25% chicks, about 1/3 cruisers, 1/3 bmw adventure bikes (with assorted douchebags on top Roll Eyes), and 1/3 sport/sport tourers. I was surprised to not have the least amount of experience there.

The only thing I was disappointed in was the suspension section...part of it turned into an ad for racetech. Nothing bad, just a "racetech valves and springs will make you a world class rider." We did spend some time on looking at the effects of an improperly set up suspension...that would be mine on both bikes. The springs and shit are here for the monster so I'm interested to see what a different beast it's going to be like when that's all installed. After spending some time in the class, riding and talking to the instructors, I decided some of my hesitancy in corners (besides fear itself) is from an unsettled suspension. Keeping the bike at a lesser lean angle was helpful in settling the suspension and allowing me to carry more speed into the turn.

All in all, a great experience on a beautiful day (except for that chilly ass ride to Columbia at 7am). I'm planning to take level 2 in either June (probably) or Sept.

I forgot to say thanks to you and Lars, who have been very good role models when I can manage to watch your form on Sundays. It's made me a better rider and allowed me not to make a total ass of myself this weekend...well at least while riding in the class. Grin

No, he brings nice scenery (on a gixxer) to the rides.

I knew I came along on the wrong Sunday. All I saw as far as scenery goes was Ben's ass and Lars in leather pants the whole day. At least I'm thankful there were no green thongs involved.

Ben, I been meaning to ask how the SD is running with the new map. I'm exploring exhaust options for the daytona and have to be somewhat resourceful since LV doesn't make a full system for the '09. I don't think the earlier system will fit either...something about a change in the shape of the header pipes or something (ignorance revealed is beautiful isn't it? laughingdp)
