Yeppers, I'm thinking a PAST recoil pad is appropriate here! ;D

Didn't seem like it was that big of a deal. I've seen 12 gauge slugs that seemed to have more recoil than that. Maybe I'm missing the point. ???

Shooting Times test-fires a two-bore rifle

nice..

2500 gr projectile = ~6 ounces, over 1/3 lb of lead.

compare that to a 110 grain 9mm round or a 200 gr 45 round.  lol

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I'm thinking of picking up a Kimber Custom II + .22LR conversion kit for myself for a first pistol. Primarily for target range & home defense.

Seems the lower end Kimber at ~ 650-700 isn't all that more than a plastic glock/hk/etc for a better spec/reputation/etc. Picking up the conversion so I can get used to handling it and shooting cheaply before "upgrading" it back to original .45.

Thoughts?
