Solid training days Tues., and today. I worked a lot of movement around barriers on multiple tgts while moving today. Mixed in odd round counts to force mag changes at different times. 600+ rounds between the two sessions.

Getting some rain tomorrow, so I hit the range today. Was all over it like a fat kid on a Twinkie. 300+ rounds running a bunch of drills. First day of the season with some of that good ole southern humidity. All good though, other than I had to workout outside when I got home. “You white folks got the last klick out of Junior.”

Ran the 48 today with the new trigger Johnny Glock did for me using the Agency Arms shoe. Not a lot different from his other trigger, but I like this tactile feel much better. Pushed it as hard as I have the ability to. 250+rds.

Two really solid sessions this week. Easily over 7k rds through the 48 now. Running lots of multiples, moving multiples, wide (18yd) transitions, mag changes, 50yd cold shots, etc etc etc.

Had two separate barrels shipped for the 1911 build, both were flawed. Hopefully third time is a charm. I gotta get this gun built.

First really hot day today. 91 & 50+% humidity. It was draining my soul, plus headspace and timing was off and I didn't have a gauge. Fought through it as best I could and had a so, so training session. 300+ rds of varying drills.

Independence Day! 🇺🇸 Pretty solid work today, ran 300rds. I can feel a breakthrough of some kind coming. Not sure exactly where it'll come into play, hopefully processing speed. We shall see.

91 and 64% humidity today at the range. Makes for a tuff training session, but I actually got in some solid work. Targets were getting a little IZ_ near the end. 300rds and I was drenched.

Tried some new loads with Titegroup (3.2grains) and 124 jacketed, very nice and smooth. [thumbsup]

Ran 300rds today. Nursing a bad right shoulder. MRI tomorrow then back to the orthopedic doctor on Thursday. If I gotta get cut, I'm gonna be doing a shit ton of support hand drills.  :D

Ran a bunch of drills today. Distance, multiples, barriers, movement, etc etc. Had my MRA on Wednesday (that's a lot of fun, felt like I was stuffed into the baggage compartment on a commercial flight for 30min). Saw the orthopedic doctor yesterday and it looks like we're gonna do surgery, but it's a 3 month recovery and I have back to back CQB classes to teach in September, and a couple days in October. I'm gonna hold off til then. He gave me 'the shot' yesterday and I'm good to go for now.
