If you don't bother loading your own ammo and purchase ammo that is rated to cycle through the firearm, then what is the problem? Guns are designed cycling a certain type of ammunition so they, well, consistently fire. They aren't designed so every person loading their own special loads playing with different cases, bullets, and amount of powder can have consistent firing without incident.
Maybe...

Plenty of reading on the net about glocks letting loose on factory loads.

I have put thousands of rounds through my Glocks, 36, 18, 23, 17. Never an issue with any of them.
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

How long have you had that?

I didn't say they all did it. I know that most of them function without issue.

I just didn't want to gamble. Also, I thought the grip angle felt un-natural in my hand.

That's my only real gripe with Glocks.  They're great tool box guns, but they just don't point well for me.

Bite me JuDdDDdd.  I'm used to the grip angle of a 1911, and the Glock points like shit comparatively.

lol Whatever.  You of all people should know that it's hard to do away with years of programing when going from one tool to another.  Bottom line, for me the Glock just points high.  Other than that, it's a great weapon, especially if it's got that little switch on the side.

:D

hbliam

After two or three rounds you just adjust your aim. 1911, Glock, Sig, XD, 686, whatever.
