I'm glad our president finally spoke out about the cause of the gun violence in Chicago. It's obviously not created by guns but by the kids who lack a father figure in their lives...having 10 kids by 11 different guys and no father figure is not good
Not meant to be a political statement but I'm sure ducpainter will let me know if it is  Grin

Shouldn't that be 11 kids by 10 different guys? laughingdp

Man things have dried up. Have a good friend who couldn't find a Ruger MKIII .22lr auto pistol at gun stores in his home town. Finally found one on line... actually bought two and had them shipped to a FFL near his home.

Heck, I'm having trouble finding Ruger MKII magazines in my home town. Ten round .22lr mags for Christ sake.bang head

Received an email ad from Natchez Shooters Supply regarding a #4 & 00 buckshot sale. They have put a 20 box max (5 rnds/box) restriction on orders. Jeez... Roll Eyes Crazy times.

Speaking of my above post... here's the stupid question of the day: Does anyone know of any manufacturer, dealer, distributor, etc. that still has any complete/drop in replacement .223 AR-15 bolts for sale? I have always liked having a spare complete/drop in bolt handy. Picked up an extra upper from a friend and used my spare bolt in that. So I am looking for another complete/drop in back up.

Wilson, Brownells, DPMS, etc. have nada, zip, nothing. Don't want to play the Craigslist, Ebay game. Just looking for a straight up buy from a reputable source.

Thanks ahead of time! waytogo

I got lucky and found them at Fulton Armory yesterday. I ordered two for $180 each. Still high, but they looked to be coated with something. They sold out in a few hours. They still have some for side chargers though. We are doing two builds for my wife, She's getting into 3 Gun matches with Ronr.

Id start browsing ar-15.com. That's what I've been doing and I've learned a lot about the ar platform. They have an "in stock ____________" thread for just about every component with minute by minute accounts of who's got what and when stock runs out someone will post.
