It is plastic. You think just a primer would launch it?

That one I pressed in went in stiff but I was able to seat and crimp with my 1.100 oal that I run.

If you can get to your OAL, you should be good.  Trim back a couple bullets so they chamber and prime up a couple cases and give it a try.  Just use a brass rod and tap them out if
they don't make it.  What some guys do, is enlarge the flash hole in the case when using plastic bullets, just remember to segregate the cases so they don't get mixed in with your regular stuff.

With the bullets being that long, I'm not sure they will stabilize, but Hey!  Proof is by Test!!

These experiments will need to be filmed.

For science.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

It is plastic.  It can be cut down to size.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Happy Easter, Peeps... [evil]

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

That...

That really illustrates what a fragile thing bullet stability is.

Dense vs sparse.

Do the same thing with ballistic gel, despite the heavier target medium, the projectile will remain mostly on the same trajectory (mostly) since the resistance of the medium is equal-more or less- on all sides.

The very light deflection given by the first few peeps is enough to change the projectile's trajectory without an appreciable change in speed.

But you all knew that...  :-)

Do tell, I was just planning on getting a bdc reticle in a 4X16 for my 7mm Rem Mag.
