I'm not sure I understand which pin you're referring to.

I'll try this route before I go to those lengths...

If that doesn't work I'll use Kentucky windage... :P

there is a pin that holds the front sight assembly

I've seen that pin.

So you're saying to rotate the entire front sight on the barrel and then re-pin it?

that is one fix.  you have to use a slightly larger pin like 0.01mm whatever the next step is.

the sight assembly is pressed on too, it has to be heated to get it off.  same deal as on the chinese SKSs that have the same problem, but for different reasons.

alternatively, if the cant is opposite the barrel thread, you can remove the barrel and sand down the receiver face.  that's preferable.

Just picked up some stuff I saw on the shelf! First I found a Keltec PMR-30(2nd Gen). Then I found a keltec Sub 2000 in 9mm Glock! As if these are not "Mythical" guns right now, I also found a Just right Carbine in 45ACP! I have been trying to get one since the election. All three came home with me. I still have no idea how I found a PMR-30 on the shelf in MD. [thumbsup]

That rifle is made to use several different Magazines. so a sub 2000 "in 9mm Glock" meand that it is chambered in 9mm and uses glock mags. It is rare to find one for sale. It is even more rare in MD.

Or a few others, mine is the coveted glock model.

That is the model designation. It sounds funny to me too. that is how they describe it. they also make the same rifle in S&W and I think Ruger configurations.

It is very hard to find one. The production numbers are low. When you do find them the price is usually 3 times MSRP. It is almost impossible to get one in a store as well. They sell before they make it to the shelf.

I think the appeal is that it is a low cost, light weight, folding sub-caliber carbine. Glock offers a lot of choices in 9mm magazines as well. It will accept any of them over 10 rounds. 10 to 100, your choice. [thumbsup]
