yes, HuÄŸlu makes hunting rifles and Canik is a similar brand to TÄ°SAÅž (the maker of the Zigana T). and where are you btw, israel?
We get all those brands here in the US.

There is also another Turk brand of shotgun sold by CZ, besides the Huglu, in the 612 line.

No, US.  I was in Israel for a few years only.  All of those are imported to the US -- the Canik has a good reputation as a CZ clone, which is pretty popular here.

No Tofas cars though..  >:(    [laugh]

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

No pics yet, but I walked into my LGS and happened to see on the wall, a Remington 700 LTR in .308.  It hurt a bit, but I replaced the LTR that I traded last year for the SCAR.  Of course, now I need a new mount, rings, and scope.  Needless to say, it might be a while before it makes it to the range.

Even if you missed the muzzle blast might save your life. lol

Purely for backwoods light carry bear defence. Not a plinker for sure. One of my favorite guns is the .50ae Desert Eagle. Meant to fire just a few rounds, ended up going through the box. That was $50 down the range in @ 15min. Wrists did not hurt at all, though my palms were abrased a bit.

I am considering a Mag research BFR in 45-70 to go along with my marlin. Now that is one nice single action.

nah, you don't need a 500 to deal with a bear unless the bears by you are 22 feet tall and are radioactive.

i like the idea of the .500 mag but jeebus, it's just too much with too little utility

the DE has the advantage of a gas system and a slide.

Another great(and cheaper) option is a 1911 chambered in 460 Rowland. Nearly the same ballistics as a .44 mag, but autoloading with an 8 shot mag. Will still fire .45 ACP for plinking too. lol

ducatiz

yeah, well..   you like the rarer cartridges, i'd just go with 44mag and be happy i can put 44 spl in it.

most bears won't argue too much if you pepper them with 44 mag.

True, but the 1911 fits my hand like a glove. That was the second hand gun I ever fired, at around 14 years old. But it is not powerfull enough for hunting or backwoods deffence in ACP. 460 is just a lengthened and strengthened cartridge half way between ACP and 45 win mag.

I hear you on the 44 mag. Elmer Keith is one of my all time heroes. He killed just about every large animal on the earth with a hot loaded 44, at one time or another. And at 300 yards and beyond on occasion. I am currently reading "Hell, I was there". Great book to read if you haven't yet.
