I might have missed something, how do you get a safety caught on the trigger?
you need to drink your energy drinks to understand . . .

Yes.  I bought a Taurus 1911 a few years ago and it had that stepped grip safety... I grip the 1911 as high as I can get my hand on it and for some reason, the trigger was always catching on the safety.  I've never had that problem with a standard grip.

The speed bump exists to help force the safety to disengage when you grip the firearm. I also grip as high as possible, and have never had that issue. Sounds like a fitment issue with the safety.

I believe that he means that the trigger bow is not sliding past the grip safety internally.

Pin it and forget it.  ;)
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

My 1911 still needs a little work. Caspian frame, with a commander length slide made by STI. Slide and barrel are fit, but lots left to do.

Looks good, but you got a tad more to do.  ;) Please don't make it shiny.  :D

Quite possible.  That wouldn't have been the only problem with the Taurus...  It's long gone.

Speaking of things to be done...  Frank's big, fancy machine spitting out rear sights yet?
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

They've been running a bunch of test pieces. I'll find out if there's any on Saturday.

I'll give you my address to send the G19 to.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.
