Where you going for weight reduction specifically?

Not really.

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Yup

I wondered.  I stripped my RRA carbine down to nothing and could barely get it under 6#...

That's about normal. Plus with optics, flashlight, full mag etc., they get heavy.

Well, it doesn't have a bayonet lug, so I'll never reach that pinnacle.... I'll have to apply for a waiver

Full mag, yes.  All that other mall ninja crap?  No.  (I'm not an Operator, and I don't play one on TV.)   ;D

Any recommendations?  I'd need a pressure switch, not a thumb switch.  I won't tell you why.

I'm heading to the range. I'll find a good setup for ya later today.

Talked with several of the boys today. (None of us' use them any longer because they fail under heavy use) You most likely won't beat on it hard as we do. (?) So I'd go with Surefire or Streamlight. The later being the easiest on your pocket.

Not worried about pocket change, I want to know what works.  What don't they use any longer... pressure switches?  I just can't use a thumb switch is all...  I'd love to see what they are using....

I'd say either one will work. (Not sure how long) We used them for years, but they were always acting up. Possibility those issues are fixed. (I doubt it) I/We have been running this or similar setup.
