Ordered an 80% Glock frame. I was very excited when it arrived, right up until I remembered that it will not work with my Gen 4 slides  [laugh] That's why I hadn't ordered one before...

Picked up a slide last night. I'm considering cutting the grip down for G26 mags, just for fun.

Had a great time!  Not sure if I actually hit anything; 4 people shooting at the same bird made it bit difficult to tell.

Our group shot the most birds out of any.  16 total.  I brought home breasts and legs from 7 pheasant and 6 chukar, all but 2, dressed by myself.

Gun was nice just wish I had more than 2 shots at a time.

Definitely worth going again.

How do you get all the pellets out?  One at a time the hard way?

Yeah, mostly one at a time.  Suprisingly there were not that many.   Any thing that looked too mutalated/bloody I didn't bother harvesting.

The guide/dog trainer  whose property we were on showed me how to check for shot by placing the meat in front of a light.

I got one too -- then realized the cost for just the parts for a G19 (internals, slide, barrel, etc) is more than what it costs to buy a used gen3 locally in a private sale.

Meanwhile, they are selling the original model for as little as $60.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I'm the first kid on my block to get my hands on one of the new March 10-60x 56mm scopes.

I just weaponized it with a Cooper 6.5 Creedmoor.  Happy.

Up in Chattanooga doing some work for Uncle Sugar. Went up to the Ranch to run some drills. First day on the gun since I busted an eardrum 3 weeks ago. First 10rds out of the gate, then I worked some movement, 1-1-1 drills, and some tight angle stuff at distance.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

That did not turn out the way I had expected.
