Actually yes.....and muzzle loader, shotgun and rifle.  My range has a Running deer target.  I bought a Colt Anaconda a few years ago to hunt deer.  Havent connected yet but plan to.  Need more practice!

Why wait till their running? Oh, and didn't you mean shoot "at" deer.  :D
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

 ;D

More about the follow up shot in case my first doesnt drop them.  Ill usually whistle or grunt to make them stop in their tracks before pulling the trigger the first time.

Also, shooting an Anaconda at deer from a tree house, (probably from a rest) has absolutely nothing to do with tactical/combat shooting. Other than sight alignment and trigger control.

I used to have an Anaconda (in .45 Colt with a 4" barrel) years ago.  Sold it like an idiot, and then Colt came out and announced that they would cease production.  I'd do almost anything to get that thing back...

Maybe if you spelled correctly you wouldn't be at a loss for words?

but I call you hoser and you get all sensitive?

I think my feeling is hurt. [roll]

You obviously aren't too familiar with my sense of humor or my postings.

Most of it is bullshitting around.

I could careless if you call me a hoser; been called much worse and that didn't hurt my feelings either.

This is a gun thread, please stay on topic.

It can get tough!  Sometimes my "treehouse" heater will go out and it will drop down to 50 degrees......makes me shudder a little bit when I line up my easy shot on my rest when its That cold in there.   [roll]

Other than sight alignment and trigger control, what else is there?

I guess there is stance, breathing and how fast one can drop and pop a polished, matched magazine into a magazine funnel (that they have practiced in the mirror 1 million times).  Oh yeah, then theres the "tactical garment".....the vest!  That is one real world piece of apparel!

My point is, those guys are in a controlled and practised environment with specialized and lightened equipment.  I would like them to hit a moving target using guns like I have.

Ive never been in a real combat scenerio and I thank God for people that have on our behalf.

Im gonna go call my guide now.  I want to see if he tracked the animal that Im going to shoot this year.....

Yeah, that was one of my suggested thread topics. Guns you foolishly let go and now you wished you had back. [bang] They stopped production, went up in value by ten times, you've never seen another one since, etc... Haven't we all done that at one time or another! I've done that with scooters too... ugh. Any other "whoa is me, why the make the beast with two backs did I sell that" stories out there? I've got a few but it just makes me pissed to think about 'em. >:(

By the way, Happy Fourth of July!!! Let's keep folks in our military, here and overseas, in our thoughts and prayers today! [clap] [bow_down] [beer] God bless them.

I wish I never would have sold my first gun, just a stainless Ruger P89 9mm.

Nothing special at all, but that is what got me in to guns (actually shooting my brother's Glock 21 was first and I bought my Ruger after. I was in college, didn't have a lot of money and it was the cheapest, good quality gun I could afford. Sure as hell wasn't going to buy a Hi-Point).

I wonder where that gun is now........I know who I sold it to, wonder if he still has it.

Actually I'm very familiar with your posting. I've been reading your bullshit for years.

Your humor...I guess you could call it that.

You're telling me to stay on topic?

Why is it that every time I shoot a glock, from a Model 19, 21, 22, and my 33, I am shooting every round high left?

I don't have this issue with any of my other handguns.

Is it possibly trigger pull technique that is causing the gun to move?

Anticipating recoil, or not following through.

I thought about both of those, but just can't figure out why it only happens with Glocks

Well, make sure that you are following through with each shot. Seeing the front sight jump, and return to the target for follow on shots, every time.
