Well, make sure that you are following through with each shot. Seeing the front sight jump, and return to the target for follow on shots, every time.

I definitely do that, that is why I can't figure out why I am such an awful shot with any glock.

I don't have the anticipation or follow-through issues with any of my other guns, but I suppose it could be limited to the Glock. I am going shooting again in a week, so I'll pay attention to anticipation and of course making sure I follow-through and am back on target for every shot.

I guess a lesson is in order at the range to figure out and then correct my high left shooting issue.

The rounds are still landing center mass.......just not a straight group like I'd prefer.

Oh yeah, it's no doubt the gun, it's my inability to properly shoot that gun.

I think it has to do with my trigger pull.

probably not the best grammar in the first sentence.

It isn't the guns fault.

Is it possibly trigger pull technique that is causing the gun to move?

Get a range buddy to prep the gun for you, with a loaded mag but either a round in the chamber or not, without you knowing which.  Then fire normally.  For the "fakes", see if you flinch or jerk at all.  Correct that, and repeat, until there's no flinch or jerk for either the fakes or the full chamber shots.

This sort of safe "Russian roulette" can work wonders.  Just remember, the gun is always loaded.  Don't let this sort of goal-oriented self-trickery end up horribly wrong because you thought that it was empty.

^^ Ball & Dummy Drill. You can do this yourself if you don't have someone at the range with you.

Just mix some dummy rounds in with live rounds.

That may be the funniest thing I've heard here in a while. [thumbsup]

I've done this with a revolver. Mix and match spent cases, .38 special, and .357 magnum to see just how badly you're flinching. [laugh]
