Quite.

My Sistema 1911 with the spur hammer is zero fun to shoot without gloves, as it makes me bleed.

I had bigger issues with "slide bite" on the Walthers that I had shot.  Great little pistol though, assuming you can overlook the hamburger mess it makes of your hand.

You know, you're right. It was slide bite on the Walthers. Hammer bite on the Hi-Powers and 1911s. I stand corrected. That's how long it's been since I shot my Walthers. [bang] The effect is sort of the same. Shooting rifles/shotguns that make your shoulder sore is one thing but shooting pistols that hurt and make you bleed is just bad juju.

1911s and Hi-Powers are semi easily fixed. Commander style hammers and beaver tail grip safety (for the 1911) solve their problems but the only "fix" for the Walthers is a lower grip. I just bucked up and kept the higher grip and wore a tact glove or taped the web of my hand at the range. If sugercrook is OK with it then so be it. More sugary goodness for him!! [laugh] [thumbsup]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

The FBI and ATF want to know your address Counselor. [laugh]

Get the P3AT instead.  Same basic size and better cartridge.  I don't even know why they still make the P32 as the round simply isn't worth the effort unless you have nothing better.  I carried the P32 for years and when they came out with the P3AT, bought it and sold the P32 ASAP.

There are plenty of small 9mm guns around now too, which are only marginally larger than the P32/P3AT.

I bought the Sig 250 thinking it would be pocket gun coolness.  Turns out its only about 1/2" shorter and actually thicker than my 228.  The 250s novelty has worn off.....

The SIG frames are too wide, unless it's the P290.

The Ruger LC9 which is a copy of the KelTec PF9 is a much better choice though.  They did a great job improving on the KT design.

The P290 is the only hammer-fired mini that I know off, all the others are striker.

Just pick up a Ruger 22/45 for a guest gun.  Not too impressed, feels kinda cheap, and field stripping the thing is a PITA.  :-\

Thinking maybe I should of got the Browning Buckmark.

Have I just been spoiled?!?!?

Got one on Friday with non-adjust sights and threaded end and just got back from the range...I am happy with it

stripping is like a Japanese Puzzle Box..well reassembly is.

Ordered a set of wood target grips for it to offset the plastic feel of the frame

It will be useful

Stripping it is an art.  Try holding it at different angles to keep the hammer from moving.

I have two and it took me a few months to get it right.

It's a wonderful little gun.  You don't need to strip it that often, just keep the barrel clean.  Strip and clean when it starts misfeeding.

Realized I got the cheap-o one with non-replaceable grips on accident.

Friends got me a gift certificate for my b-day, and I ordered without seeing it first.   :(

I thought the price was too good from all the others I've seen...  [bang]

At least it's just the guest gun, and not really for ME...but still.  :(

Folks are doing mods to the non Replaceable ones and a guy Tech-Custom. com I believe is making grips that go over the factory molded ones

here is his video

I am pissed that Ruger made the adjustable sights and the fixed sights NON-interchangeable....dipshits....

was thinking I could use a Laserlyte on mine until I discovered that little problem with the rear sight dove tail
