"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Learn anger and worry has never solved anything and often makes a bad situation worse.

Well then let me clarify: learn anger and worry has never solved anything and often makes a bad situation worse, rather, take a level head and solve the situation with the appropriate action.

... I'm totally cool with my friends saying "You remember when William bit it?!  That was awesome!  How do you explode in a fireball while being crushed under a waterfall?!  I don't think I'll beat that..."

Learn to make one dish really well.

Learn CPR.

Step outside your comfort zone on a regular basis.

Take chances - you meet the coolest people that way.

exactly i agree with that, anger and worry cloud judgement, so even if you have to/want to do something evil or unjust to someone else, don't do it with anger or worry, bc your judgement will be off.. you have to do it in a cold calculating manner so that you get maximum benefit out of it...

i think that is what he was getting at, in order to make revenge better you have to take the emotional part out of it and do it in a smart/fun way, rather than an irrational angered mode that may make you "miss" opportunities that you would have seen if you stepped back from the situation and made proper plans to carry it out.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I actually did this, years ago.

I went to school in NZ for a year (5th form, equivalent of United States high school 10th grade or so) on the South Island, Dunedin, Otago Boys'.

I learned the Ka Mate haka

in school, and also went to a couple of the games of the 1987 World Cup.  Quite something, and highly recommended.  TV really doesn't do it justice; being on the sidelines near a scrum is...vivid.

Balance an egg on its end. Only two times a year you can actually do this.
