Looking good to get plates on Trumpy tomorrow am. If so, I'm riding on Sunday!  Hell, maybe Monday too...

Rode with Lorenzo, Stew and Adam to CAD [moto] While waiting for JJ, Adam and I did a leasurly ride to the ski area and back.
JJ, Bill and John were part of the second run ....and what a ride it was waytogo  Met Ed at CAD and I'm sure that JJ couldn't help himself but talk those guys into
another Crest run.

Oh cool, I thought that might have been you guys I past on my bicycle up there.    cheeky

Great to here the "Season Opener" went off without a hitch.

Coaching, Riding & dugout seats at the Isotopes game have won out today.

Can't wait to get out with the crew soon  waytogo
Not that it wasn't attempted last week, but. the license plate / Easter egg hunt doesn't count in my book (Let's just act like that day didn't happen).

See ya' down the road.

Is it just me, or are there WAY more bicyclists on the Crest this year than ever before?  Rode it twice last weekend and twice this weekend.  All those times I went pretty early, the latest being coming back down the hill at around 10:30 a.m. and the road was just effin cluttered with bicyclists.

I'm a bicyclist.  I like road and mountain biking.  I do NOT like riding three abreast 2/3rds of the way out into the actual lane!  What the hell are these guys thinking?  Lots of blind corners on that hill -- you might as well take a damn nap in the road.  Yes, you have rights to the road but don't be a friggin' dumbass about it!  Ticked me off today going down the hill two guys were riding "in formation" taking up the WHOLE LANE not paying any attention to the Jeep and myself that backed up behind them.

Maybe I'm overreacting but it just seems worse than usual this year.  I've been riding/driving the crest for 7 years and this year is the worst I've seen with idiots on bicycles (not all bicyclists up there are idiots, just the...well...just the idiots).  Hope it's just spring fever?

Yes Zaster, what a nice start to the year on the Crest! It was awesome riding behind Zaster again with John showing some cool skills. Wasn't yet comfortable enough to push, with some holes and bumps...but still Crest has it all to get your mouth dry with rush!!! Had another shot with Ed...Kept it easy...a false neutral on a right sweeper, that Ed must have noticed Huh?, was the only blunder...Otherwise just working the sores from a busy day...Lets keep it going!!!
