Sooo... what you're sayin' is you have a very small window, right?

Quote from Steve Martins movie "The Jerk"

Frosty: my boss tells me there's a big future in weight
guessing. Enclosed is four dollars and seventy five cents for my
loving family. P.S. Is grandma still farting?

Navin: For one dollar I'll guess you're weight, your height, or your
sex. The most exciting thing on the midway. Imagine the thrill of
getting your weight guessed by a professional. You can blow up
your cheeks, you can stick out your chest, but you're not going
to fool the guesser. How about you sir? Step right up!

Carnival Rube: Hey honey, let's see how good this guy is. What'd I
win?

Navin: Uh, anything in this general area right in here. Anything
below the stereo and on this side of the bicentennial glasses.
Anything between the ashtrays and the thimble. Anything in this
three inches right in here in this area. That includes the
Chiclets, but not the erasers.

Hey HP, sorry we hadn't posted that up yet.  Time got away from us.  Yes, we are still willing to host a potluck for the Superbowl.  Looks like game time is 4, so we are thinking anytime after 3 is good with us.   waytogo

BTW How was the weather in KC?

If there's going to be a bacon explosion, I am definitely driving down there!  I may be a few minutes late, but leave the key under the mat!   Grin

Just kidding, I am trying my best not to have to come down because Aubrie's 1st birthday is on Sunday.  Anson is closing out my apartment Saturday and barring no unexpected demand for my actual presence, I am going to be up here in my Grandma Gloey role.   We need a white-haired grandma emoticon.

On the subject of dangerous recipes, here's a little something that I have been trying hard not to make, but it's coming:

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large Ducati coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and
mix thoroughly. Pour
in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips
(if using) and vanilla extract,
and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at
1000 watts. The cake
will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be
alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and
tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! This can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more
virtuous ( ... or make two mugs and scarf 'em both if you are feeling particularly decadent-SPH).
And why is this
the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate
cake at any time of
the day or night!
