I hope to hear back from the seller soon. KBB is 8500 in excellent condition, so the price could be right...

Only real issue you'd run into with only having one key is making sure you don't lose that one key.  I've got all the needed bits to re-map the ecu on that bike, so that would work out for you.  One plus, it's got BRAND NEW tires with 60% tread remaining.    [roll]
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Ha! Ya, I thought the "new tires" was a funny. Haven't heard back from seller, but it's early.

Exchanged PMs with Gene about his bike. He's on the road so I'll try to catch up with him wed/thurs. I figure while I'm out in the burbs I'd look at some other bikes like this duke.

I really think Gene's S2R would be the one to go for.  It might have some miles on it, but you know the thing has been SERIOUSLY taken care of, and is probably in better shape than many bikes that are only a year old.
