Apparently, someone finally told Haga and Fabio that they're on factory bikes.

Wow...

no one watched?

Rea in race one made it look easy.

Go Ruben....first podium in a while.

Nori finished 5th...twice.

Definitely, he and Max are the two smoothest riders on the grid. I felt bad for Cal and Leon both getting bum tyres. I wonder why the Suzukis are struggling at the moment? Leon's wife looked hot in her umbrella girl outfit though!!

I said it last time, but I'm getting sick of that Aprilia.

Anyone watch Toseland?  Brilliant riding, 'cept for that go-to-last-on-the-grid thing at the start.

Poor Smrz.  Not unexpected, given that it's a brand new bike to him with a brand new tire compound.   But still, it's his home race.

Yamaha needs to get its shit sorted out.

Give Rea the factory Duc.

I didn't realize until listening to the commentary that Haslam's Suzuki wasn't getting factory support.  WTF?  He was leading the championship for nearly half the year.   Why wouldn't they put money into development?

Thumbs up to RLH.  He's starting to get it together, though you can't tell from his grid position.  Man, I know everyone kept talking about his machine was down on other machines and how they were on a shoe-string budget.  But then I read an article recently about how little $ they have.  The team is comprised of a family -- dad is the mechanic, mom cooks the meals and the brother is his crew chief (well, "kinda" in RLH's words).  Wow.

+ on RLH.  disalvo shoulda taken some notes.
sure was fun watching xaus look like his old self in race 1.  no surprise of course that that ate up the tires.
the suzuki has always been sorta-but-not-really factory

It begs the question, have Suzuki and Kawasaki given up trying to sell bikes based on their prowess. Both companies are being carried solely on rider talent seemingly. It must be frustrating as hell for Leon Haslam he was so close... I wonder what he'll be doing next year.

on the Suzuki thing...it used to be, 'Zuke would come out with an update or newer bike every 2 years for a while there....the current GSXR1000 (K9?) is 2 years old now and is just a basic update from the previous K8 generation....and not a peep about anything new out of Japan on that machine, especially since they said that the US wasn't getting 2010 vehicles due to $$$ shortfalls in the economy and blah blah blah....so is it that they will now start to move on an update/upgrade since Kawi has come forward with a new machine?!?!?...and from there, Batta and Yoshimura and all the developers will go to town building hot parts for these machines...

Give Rea the factory Duc.

+1

Give RLH the second one and see what he can do next year.  Smiley

Haga and Fabrizio need to go.

While I'd like to see good racing at the front, at least it is Biaggi running away with it. I like him...and the Ape is one bad mofo of a bike!

Looks like an RSV4r violently raped a ninja and left it sobbing in the corner. 9 months later, the bastard child emerges.

Hasn't Kawasaki made big promises about huge changes in the past?  Maybe I'm dreaming it, but it seems like I've heard this story before.  I hope it's true this time.
