Fixed that for you.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Lebanese anise booze. Very similar to ouzo, but without the sugar. 100 proof.

I may need to find me some of this.

for science.

Good Ouzo is very nice.  I remember it flowing freely in a nightclub in Istanbul.  Not sure I remember much else.

Arak Razzouk, computer games, and boredom.

"I was drunk again. There was nothing at all to do in this place, so every day we did the same old things. Bitter tea and wine; white bread. An effort to remove ourselves from our own lives, lest we have to live them. There would be croquet in the mornings, and perhaps polo in the afternoons. And in the evenings... God, I hoped for tragedy before the evenings. Anything to save myself from the intolerable chore of attending dinner parties, and listening to grayed and senile men talk about the faults of 'today's youth.' [...] It was then that I decided to quit this place, and to dissolve myself into the gulf of expatriation. "

I would not object to finding himself in a foreign land for the next eight months or so. No Facebook, no phones, no emails... just submersion into otherness.
