I share a backyard with my neighbor...she just gave me a passive aggressive lesson on why my roses look like shit.

I know I don't care about them, but I also am used to working 7 days a week.
apparently all I need o do is no be drunk and water them twice a week.


plus pay attn and trim dead branches...if I can keep this up, i'll have some gorgeous white roses for my friends

Not so passive aggressive lesson or your neighbor: She's more than welcome to tend to the roses if they are that important to her, otherwise make the beast with two backs right off. And once you're done make the beast with two backsing right off, go make the beast with two backs right off again in a different direction.
