You've got that right... "Inevitable" S trim power cruiser for the "I gotta have it" people who drive the Mercedes "AMG" trim suv.  ;D [roll]

you know I've been thinking about the economics.

maybe it is great that Ducati is breaking into new markets.

More cash flow means they can afford to try more products. maybe even a new SS or ST. or a single.

AND more cash flow means they can afford that new factory they are working on. Which also means they can work on new ways of efficiency to reduce some costs, which may help lower the ever increasing prices

[laugh] sorry for a minute there I thought this was about helping us afford Ducatis

I really dig the Harley Nightrod, which this looks to be a potential competitor of - I'd buy it. It looks pretty aggressive & cool. The cans suck on the exhaust, and different bars looks like they'd be better, but overall I call this rad!

the exhaust can be changed, but that swoopy, melted line from the droopy headlight back to the bars would be harder.

different headlight and short, flat, drag bars further forward and lower and maybe...just maybe...I wouldn't hate it.

+1   not a fan of the headlight   [puke]

Put some BoomTubes on that sucka and see if you don't like it. Mark already photoshopped it and it looked much better. Round headlight.

I personally am happy that Ducati is doing well enough to even try this.  A power cruiser would be great for my girl and I, she is a big fan of the laidback relaxing ride, of course the M1200 would probably do what i want and more.  There shouldn't be any hate on a new model just the fact they are doing a totally new bike is cool in itself instead of just rehashing parts.

As for looks everyone needs to really stop judging the thing until official shots are shown.  All of you saying i don't like the headlight, i don't like the exhaust, etc etc don't seem to realize the bike is in full camo to hide it's look.  Have you ever seen some of the insane camo they put on cars to hide models and makes?  I'm reserving my judgement on styling until i see a good photo.  But for now i think it is going in the right direction from what is visible.  A single sided swingarm, classy wheels, brembo brakes, and comfortable ergos i'm looking forward to seeing it.  A lot of Ducati's styling seems to have function to it so i have good faith in them.  For example the multi1200's beak may not look the best but that thing actually adds a good amount of horsepower!  And i'm sure it has grown on a lot of people here.
