i still have an unused dml sticker, would it be too dramatic to slap it on my rear tire and really burn it?

Take video of it.  Post it to YouTube.  Make sure the camera gets a closeup of sticking it on the tire, than backs away while you do the burnout.  That sounds even better than melting it with a blowtorch.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Refugee #398164 blah blah blah.
Never did put mine on my bike not because I didn't like it just never found the right place.
Me thinks there might be a few Oz Monster people popping in here pretty soon.
Gotta start the post count again.
And if there are stickers and other items going I'm sure I'll find the right place for them.

cheers
Matty...

Nah-then people will just think BMW makes Ducati's  :P
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I understand your point, but...

Don't get me wrong - I like BMW's. I won't drive anything else. I've been a member of BMW CCA for 15 years. I just don't like the bikes. I ride a Ducati Monster and I would hate for anyone to get the idea that I thought it was second best to a BMW.

Besides, BMW GMBH has absolutely no sense of humor when it comes to use of the roundel.

if a logo is modified from it's origional presentation, it is no longer their logo now is it?....look at other representations that are out there of other logo's, like in the format of T-Shirts with slogans that are offensive or statemental or otherwise not having anything to do with the logo they have assimilated it to look like....if we were a BMW club, I might agree that there would be a problem and BMW would have something of a reasonable leg to stand on to say it...in this case...they don't....unless they decide to buy Ducati or this forum...Then and only then, might I think about worrying....

does it matter what people think?....let em think it till you pass em in a corner and then they'll think nothing but "WHOA"...otherwise, don't pay attention to what people think or stop posing at Starbucks for so long....half of the comments you'll get at Starschmucks anyways will be something along these lines like "make the beast with two backsing crotch rocket" or "damn rice burner" or "it ain't a Harley" anyways....so why worry?

bottom line is...we are riders...we ride Ducati's....in this particular case...mostly Monsters...and even further more....this is a Ducati Monster WorldWide forum (hence the web addy)....now the old DML is now calling themself a Ducati Monster Forum...it even says as a sub header on the board below Ducatimonster.org " Ducati Monster Forums: Ducati Monster Motorcycle Forum" and now on a private message notification in my Email box from someone off that board instead of it saying in the old days it is from " Ducati Monster List".....it now says" Ducati Monster Forums:Ducati Monster Motorcycle Forums"......whereas PM's from here in my inbox say its from "Ducati Monster Forum"....close enough to confuse someone if they aren't paying attention and notice that pluralization difference....lets embrace OUR WORLD....and so what if people think DMW stands for Desmo Motor Works or Ducati Motor Works....this is Ducati Monster World.....and I like it!

I have DML stickers on my truck and my duc. My duc's tat is on her bum she might need laser removal surgery.  :'(

Also, I need three R.I.P. iron ons. So I can put them above the DML logo on my Monster shirts.

You could also get iron ons that say "Used to not suck."
