'88 BMW R100GS.

Initial thoughts.

Disgustingly well balanced. Turns effortlessly.

Plenty of torque at all RPMs, both on and off highway.

Cylinder heads toast my feet-this is nice in the mountains.

Air horn has gotta go.

Needs a new seat and bars.

Sidestand is useless-I can't put it down from on the bike.

At 90K miles, it still runs like a champ.

They actually have a cast in section on the fork they fit into. It'd look weird to take them out.

Ugly but effective. waytogo

Is that an Ohlins shock?

Ok how many bikes now? You know every time we had a kid I needed a new bike. I reckon the hypothalamus releases the 'bike acquisition hormone' in response to the pregnant wife's pheromones.  cheeky

Ohlins shock. Front end has all sorts of fancy fork reinforcements. HID is enough to give one a sunburn (I call it the "Eye of Sauron").

Hideous, but a terrific commuter.

I think we're up to...6 bikes? I cant keep track anymore-they're never all parked in the same place.

Love it. I want one. 90k oh my

I like the bark busters too. I'd probably throw some new springs on that center stand though. Makes for a nasty potential high side.

Nice find and it wouldn't look that good after all those miles if it weren't white.
