i do not decry the boricuan big booty, but it is not my taste.

And this particular Puerto Rican doesn't fit that mold.

Tan skin, dark hair, dark eyes.

But very slender and athletic.

And no accent.  She moved here when she was very young.

I didn't know she was born in PR until I'd known her for a while, so it blew my mind the first time I heard her speak perfect Spanish.

I was in Amsterdam in 2002 and I recall from local reading that other than marijuana/hash and magic mushrooms, everything else carried a very stiff penalty. However, the park you describe seems to supersede the seedy allies that dominate the red light district.

Dude, if you want to get high, hallucinate (I never tried the magic mushrooms while there.....not my thing), and visit a very cool city with a lot of history...........go for it 

If you watched the world cup, the big video monitors they had set up was right out infront of the Rijkes Museum (at least it looked liked it) which is the Netherlands National Museum. Very cool. Lots of artwork. Hell, Ducpainter would even like it as lots of Rembrandt work in there, but again......he was just another painter.

Right up the road is the Van Gogh Museum; There must be 1,000 of his self portraits there.

Then of course for the sombering visit, you can go to the house where Anne Frank and her family was hiding during WWII.

You are guaranteed to walk out with tears in your eyes to see what it must have been like, so if that is not your thing to see, then I wouldn't recommend going.
