how many miles do you get out of full tank?

How many total miles do people get out their monster before filling up? My 03 M800sie has a 14 liters (3.698 gallons) tank and I get about 44 mpg. I can only get about 110 miles (after a full tank) before the fuel light comes on and since the reserve tank hold .89 gallon, I can get about 40 more miles before I need to fill up again.  Does this sound right? I heard others saying they can get about 300 miles out of the Monster.

you know, i don't even know what a full tank is. it would seem that my light comes on rather quickly when i ride. for me to have any idea, i would have to run almost empty but i never know how close i am. my zx-6 had a gas gauge and man all of my friends mad fun of me but i never once ran out of gas. but i would have to say i average about 90 or so miles until my light comes on, but i don't know what that means.

is that to bone dry or when the light comes on?  or is a set # of gallons?

i always get scared and rush to the gas station when my light comes on. what happens if you do run out? would you have to prime the motor, or would it just start up?

theres a poll and thread started already in Tec on that exact Q ... ; you get all you need to know there; 03 M800ie - 110 miles to 12 litres; I haven't tried pushing beyond when the light comes on ...

I'm also on an 03 M800.  I'm getting ~140miles when the light comes on.  This is during daily commuting running on 87 octane.  I'll usually get ~12-13L into the tank after that.

I get on average 130 miles per tank with my very non-stock '97 M750. . . & my fuel light is always on

01 M750: I get exactly 150 miles out of a full tank. And my light as of 2 weeks ago never comes on.

Go ahead ask me how I know all this.
