ML, sorry sh*t like this had to happen.  When I was in college, my dorm was next to a park.  One afternoon, I noticed a softball in the back of my 83 RX-7.  Apparently some kids were playing a pickup softball game and the ball went thru the rear quarter-panel window.  They all took off.  Luckily it was a tiny window, not the back hatch...  Still, pissed me the hell off!  Money I didn't need to spend...

didnt want to catch the mail carrier. interfering with them is a federal crime i think.. ;)

Sorry to hear ML, hope it gets sorted for not too much. 

The mailbox thing happened to my parents mailbox on a regular basis.  Dad reinforced the mailbox.  It wasn't long before he found the better part of the front end of a Ford pickup laying in pieces around the mailbox ~
