if the transaction was funded from a creditcard, it doesn't matter. HIS bank will always argue in THEIR customer's best interests.

if HIS bank/creditcard contacts paypal, they WILL issue a chargeback.

gift or not, you WILL end up w/ a negative balance in your paypal account.

well if the guy retracts the money some how, ill still have a negative balance in my paypal account. so its not like i can get away from paypal. Once the item is delivered, i will make sure he got it. and that will be that.

I just figure it's the difference between someone taking money out of your wallet and someone handing you a bill.

Thats what paypal told me. If say he wanted to retract the funds from his CC then he has every right to, the only thing is its up to the credit card company to decide it. Not paypal. Paypal only mediates the fund transfer. the bank would be the source of the funds.

The guy wants me to scan the forms and send it to him.  Igave him all the info... which is kinda suspcious cause i hope he doesnt forge them or do something with it... i should send him shitty scans.

If he has your paypal info he can and probably has gotten more, should this be a scam.

I've had two issues where an unknown company got my email and vuala charges appeared from some sketchy companies with dead-end phone numbers.  just watch your back is all.
