I'm still playing with it, i havent been able to put it down.

something about it gives you that...I can do anything feeling, no wonder the Gurkhas are so badass

Will have to put a new edge on it as it leaves something to be desired

It's handmade which i think makes it feel more...soulful? I never really got to like any of my SOG's because they felt dead

BTW, that's a good way to store any non-stainless steel blade when you're not carrying it -- wrapped in oilcloth, separate from the sheath. Leather sheaths hold moisture like crazy and some of the chemicals used in tanning can be quite corrosive. Leave that blade in the sheath for six months or so through a humid summer, and you're going to have an unpleasant shock when you next pull it out!

+1 on the handmade vibe -- your eyes and your hands intuitively know the difference.

New favorite knife.  The only way it could get better is if they made a "mini" version.  Extremely sharp right out of the box.  My only gripe is the handle is a little larger than I prefer.

This has been my daily carrier for the past 4 years.  Never really liked the tanto blade but it holds an edge very well.  Its gutted deer and fish, cut bait, rope, drywall, tree branches among other things.

They are expensive but they hold an edge like crazy and have a Ti subframe/liner lock.

bought a couple more for Christmas presents last night.

Dad just bought a place on a lake in Michigan so I bought him the Mantis "Phil A" knife.  Long folder.



Step-dad is into guns.  The Boker Plus Kalishnikov's handle looks like a gun.  Nice serrated blade too. 



Found a new Zero Tolerance for myself too.   We'll see what Santa-wife has to say about that.

Yeah, I've seen some of those Medford knives before. I really like a couple of them, I just don't know how much I like the 550 handles. I wonder if you can get some micarta slabs for it?
